What is Sun & Pints?
Sun & Pints is a Barcelona terrace-finding app. It brings together a map, estimated sun exposure, beer prices, opening information and walking directions to help you choose where to sit outside.
How does the sun forecast work?
The app estimates terrace sunlight for a chosen time, taking the sun’s position and surrounding buildings into account. It helps you plan ahead, but trees, awnings, clouds and your exact table can change the light. A sun score is an estimate, not a weather guarantee.
Why compare beer prices per 33cl?
A caña is not the same size in every bar. When the serving size is known, Sun & Pints converts prices to a 33cl equivalent: menu price ÷ serving size in cl × 33. You can compare value on the same basis. Prices can change; check the menu at the venue.
Is the app free? Is it on Android?
Sun & Pints is free to download from the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. There is currently no Android version. The App Store listing has the latest compatibility and availability details.
Which areas does it cover?
Sun & Pints focuses on Barcelona, with guides for areas including Gràcia, Eixample, Sant Antoni, Poble-sec, El Born, Barceloneta and Poblenou. Check the app for available venues near you.
Are the prices and opening hours live?
